Senior Technology Expert

Position description:

Provide expert technical consultancy and problem solving to Nokia identified developers including ISVs, network operators and independent software developers in Mexico and other Spanish speaking LTA regions. Plan and implement persistent Nokia platform and technology evangelism activities including scalable on-line activities for the mass developer community in these regions. Act as the firs point of contact in technical issues, and play a lead-role to enable partner and platform success and ensure Nokia platform and technology adoption. Communicate and educate developers on Nokia Developers Platforms technologies, roadmaps, and strategies. Lead architect-to-architect engineering meeting within Nokia and whit partners to drive adoption of key technologies. Develop and deliver hands-on technical sessions at developer events. Publish code level articles and demos via Forum Nokia and third party sites.

Requirements:

Required:

• Minimun five years or directly relevant experience
• Expert hands-on programming skills with Symbian/S60 platform DESEABLE
• Native level fluency whit spoken and written Latin American Spanish is an absolute must
• Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• End-to-end wireless development and deployment knowledge
• Good English language communication skills including speaking experience and previous developer oriented technical publications
• Demonstrated experience in software, products, solutions consulting
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies and concepts quickly and apply and relate the learning to real-world situations
• Ability to multi-task is a must
• Knowledge of Java ME, especially as it applies to Nokia platforms ( S60 and Series 40 )
• Demonstrated can-do attitude and willingness to work with matrix and cross functional organizations

Preferred:

• Experience and knowledge of Nokia devices, developer platforms art the architect level
• Knowledge of the entire mobile development landscape including competitors, available development languages, tools, carriers, etc
• Expertise with Flash, Browser, AJAX, Web Services, Python
• Experience consulting with Wireless network operators, handset manufactures will be a plus
